In March 2005 we participated in the March for Diabetes at the Nashville Zoo. $2 for each exam during the months of October, November and December was donated to the American Diabetes Association. The ADA is our community outreach of choice.
 Ground Hog Day brought folks out to Hermitage Eye Care for their 3rd Annual celebration of the day Punxsutwney Phil makes his grand appearance.
Traditional country food, door prizes, games and fun highlighted this special day.
 In September 2004, Dr. Hammond celebrated 20 years of practice in Hermitage. Patients enjoyed a special reception, a frame adjustment and repair workshop, and special discounts all month.
 Ground Hog Day is a special day at Hermitage Eye Care. From time to time, Dr. Hammond will shoot one, too. But more importantly than that, a special patient appreciation day is scheduled every year in observance of this holiday.
